The Full Story
Hi, I'm Liz!
The face behind my little business

About me!
Hey! I'm Liz (Lizzie, or Lizard)
When I’m not making rings, you’ll find me out exploring! I love road tripping, hiking, mountains, splashing around in rivers, or playing music (piano and guitar). I also love vlogging and capturing moments on my camera, sharing little glimpses of outdoor joy and everyday adventure with others.

Fun fact: I've solo camped and roadtripped across the US and back TWICE. Once in 2024, and recently in 2025!

My goal is to share the beauty and stories of God’s creation and inspire others to experience it for themselves. Whether it’s a National Park or your own backyard, I hope my work encourages you to explore, appreciate, and protect these incredible places.

The story behind Spoons by Liz
I started this shop as a senior in college, selling handmade rings as a side project to fund my travels. This past summer, I packed everything I owned into my car and drove from Connecticut all the way to Washington State—then down the West Coast and back home again. I leaned into selling my rings to fuel the journey (literally!).

Along the way, I fell even more in love with sharing the beauty and stories of our U.S. national parks and public lands.

Now that I’ve settled into a new chapter here in Pittsburgh, I’m continuing to grow my craft.
I thrift antique silverware from local vintage shops and upcycle each piece into a unique ring with its own story. What started as a small college project has become a full-on creative passion, and now, as a recent marketing grad, I’m scaling things up from a dorm room hustle to an online shop!
